Program Vision, Mission, and Values

The Neurology Residency Program at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center seeks tobe a community of neurologists-in-training deeply committed to learning the art and science of medicine while providing care to the underserved, cultivating collegial relationships with each other, and maturing as physicians and individuals.

  • To produce compassionate physicians capable of delivering high quality neurological care to their patients.
  • To create a collegial and supportive setting in which learning is exciting.
  • To prepare our housestaff for the practive of neurology or for competitive postgraduate training programs.
