Getting Here By Plane
Richmond's closest airport is the Richmond International Airport (RIC), which is located 9 miles from the Medical College of Virginia campus. If transportation is needed from the airport to the MCV or VCU Campuses, this can be provided by Groome Transportation, (804) 222-7222. Groome has a desk in the baggage claim area of RIC. From the airport to Downtown hotels, rates are:

- $25.75 for three people one way
- $8.00 per person for groups of four or more

Getting Here By Train
If you are traveling to Richmond by train, you can choose to arrive at one of two Richmond Amtrak Stations, 7519 Staples Mill Road or the Downtown/Main Street Station, which is about 10 blocks from the MCV Campus. Tickets and Schedules may be found at http://www.amtrak.com/
Getting Here By Car
If you are driving directly to MCV, parking is available through the MCV Patient Valet Parking service or in the MCV Patient and Visitors Parking Deck located on Clay Street, two block North of 11th Street.
